Four-year postdoc in Munich (CPC-Grossadern & Helmholtz Zentrum Munchen) concluded with a publication in SCIENCE ADVANCES.
Four-year PhD thesis in chemical engineering in Scotland at the University of Strathclyde. Graduated in molecular biotechnology from the University of Parma.

SPORT
An athlete since the age of 5, after swimming, football, rugby and American football, I found my passion in weightlifting.From 2009 to 2024 in powerlifting, I earned 31 golds, 3 silvers and 4 bronzes in 44 national competitions including 1 overall men’s title, plus 4 silvers in 10 international competitions.

SCIENCE
I strengthened my skills by combining computer science, molecular biotechnology and chemistry in engineering and human contexts to study lung carcinoma using next-generation sequencing (NGS) and I also studied pulmonary fibrosis, developing neural networks to identify useful treatment drugs.

INSIGHT
A growing interest that became a passion for biochemistry, molecular biology and structural biochemistry led me to explore nutrition’s impact on human health and formulate a new method for approaching healthy, balanced nutrition.
Human nutrition, a simple act grounded in science and experience.
At a time when scientific knowledge of human biochemistry is so advanced, I have always found it paradoxical that nutrition is still entrusted to commercial fads, do-it-yourself methods or advice from fit friends who would be in shape regardless of their diet.
Another paradox is that, even in a high-level academic context, human nutrition shows a wide gap between practice and theory: serious mistakes are often made in practice by giving theory too little weight.
This often leads to approaches focused on rapid results, neglecting health, respect for sports performance and the long-term impact on wellbeing.
